I'm browsing sites that bring me back to simpler times. I'm stuck in bed recovering from a TBI. Sites like yours make me smile and are a big inspiration to make one myself. I love all the gifs.

25f I followed a livejournal link, and that got me thinking about y2k, and I found a video that mentioned webrings and site neighborhoods, and googled it, followed some links and I ended up here. I've explored geocities before, but this is my first time on this page!
This style of website makes me feel calm. Something about the newer, hypersleek style of hover popup options and info boxes, clickable area shadowing, the subtle mismatch of sleek fonts and default animations that make me feel like I've been served up thoughtless dumpster scraps, and vibes in general just gives me the ick, knowing we were once a society with taste 
I was barely old enough to glimpse this era of cyberspace. A lot of it is buried deep in my childhood memories. I hope it comes back, and that online spaces become less impermanent and cookie cutter.
At the same time, I don't have the time, vision, and brains to make something so nice!! Ugh, the curating power. Amazing job <3
